The trams of Munich and Turin share a part of their history: did you know that in August 1944 twenty-two cars of Turin were requisitioned by the German armed forces and sent to Munich? And that in 2011 a motor-car and a trailer M4/m4 type of Munich reached Turin, where they are still being restored? This book, the first written in German, describes the destiny of the vehicles which have spent part of their existence in both cities. The volume comes within a long and productive collaboration with the Munich Tram Friends Association (Straßenbahnfreunde München) and with the Friends of the Munich Tram Museum (Freunde des MünchnerTrambahnmuseums). All the incomes coming from the sale of this book support the restoration activities of the ATTS Association, which has established many impressive projects, including the restoration of the aforementioned motor-car and trailer of Munich.
